When will the Southeast Asia eBay Education Specialist Program be terminated?

eBay’s agreement with the American Research Institute (ARI) with respect to the eBay Southeast Asia Education Specialist Program (Southeast Asia Program) ends on August 1, 2010. The Program which is administered by ARI’s PowerU division will be terminated on that day.

What happens when the Southeast Asia Program is closed?

eBay Education Specialists registered with the Southeast Asia Program will no longer enjoy training support from PowerU and cannot continue to use the title "Education Specialist trained by eBay", the associated logo and curriculum once the program is closed. Members can still offer independent training courses, however they will not be officially endorsed by eBay.

Will there be a replacement program?

eBay has set up new programs in the Southeast Asian region to recognize members interested in helping others sell internationally on eBay.  More information on the new programs can be found at the following pages:
