[Global] Bangkok Civil Unrest: Post Office Closures
2010-05-25 00:18:01
Dear Seller,
Thailand Post has advised that post offices in Bangkok, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, Samut Prakan, and Nonthaburi were closed from May 20 to 23, 2010 following the civil unrest in the nation’s capital. The post offices reopened on May 24, 2010.
If you reside in one of these provinces, you would have been unable to ship items you sold on eBay during this period.
We strongly encourage you to proactively communicate with your customers to inform them about the situation and the delay in their shipments to avoid negative feedback, low DSRs and buyer disputes.
Please refer to Thailand Post’s official advisory for full details about the post offices closures. For further enquiries, please call Thailand Post’s hotline at 1545.
You can also refer to the Bangkok Post website for the latest news about the unrest situation.
