In preparation for the release of the Apple iPhone 4 on June 24th, guidelines are now in place to help meet buyer demand for this highly-anticipated device, while also promoting eBay sellers who deliver excellent customer service.
 

Apple iPhone 4 Product Pre-sales
Most sellers will be allowed to list an Apple iPhone 4 during the pre-sale period prior to the launch date of June 24th, as long as they are in full compliance with eBay’s Presale Listings policy and accept PayPal as their only method of payment.  Specifically:
 

• Apple authorized resellers will be allowed to list up to 50 items per week.
• eBay Top-rated sellers will be allowed to list up to 4 items per week.
• All sellers meeting minimum performance standards will be allowed to list 1 item per week.

Note: Sellers not meeting minimum performance standards will not be allowed to list the Apple iPhone 4 during the pre-sale period.
 

Apple iPhone 4 Domain Name and Email Address Sales
Sellers offering Apple iPhone 4 related domain names or email addresses for sale on eBay will be allowed up to 4 listings per week.
 

As always, any selling activity that appears to mislead buyers regarding the authenticity of the item may result in limitations to selling activity, including account suspension.
